Introduction

Welcome to Soglia, the public event treasury in crypto, connected to Boardy. This policy explains what we process when you use event-budget.grok.me, sign in with X or Google, and publish an event, RSVP or profile.

Soglia is built for Italy and Romania first, then the rest of Europe. We process data under the GDPR.

Data we collect

We collect only what the treasury, the desk and the public pages need.

• Account: name, email, photo and handle from X or Google sign-in.
• Public profile: unique username, tagline, plan, Buy Me a Coffee slug if you add one.
• Events: title, city, dates, threshold lists, referents, covers.
• Attendance: RSVP, public mark, origin social network.
• Treasury: EUR amounts, chosen assets, transaction hashes and addresses if you record them. On-chain data is already public.
• Technical: session cookie, language, handle skin, guest mode.

Sign-in with X and Google

Sign-in federates through the Grok identity broker to X and Google. Soglia never sees passwords. From X we read the screen name, display name and profile photo for login, the header avatar and the /u/[username] page.

Anyone not on the staff list becomes a registered user: they can view events, not create or manage them. Administrators remain @perlesvaux and @andrewdsouza; affiliates of @boardyai are editors.

Legal bases

We process data on these GDPR bases:

• Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)): account, profile, events, RSVP, treasury.
• Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): public page, handle, photo, Buy Me a Coffee plan.
• Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)): security, abuse, desk improvement.
• Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) where required.

How we use data

We use data to authenticate you, show avatar and handle, publish or hide people and events, record pledges, prepare Boardy briefs, and keep canonical URLs, the sitemap and /u and /h pages.

We do not sell contact lists. We do not run third-party behavioural ads.

Third parties

To run Soglia we rely on:

• X and Google, for identity.
• The Grok broker (auth.grok.me), for federated login.
• Boardy (boardy.ai), for intros — the brief is yours, sent in DM.
• Buy Me a Coffee, only if you add a slug.
• Public crypto networks, if you confirm an on-chain pledge.
• Hosting for event-budget.grok.me.

Public pages and usernames

The username is the handle used at registration. /u/[username] is public while status is live. Administrators publish, hide or archive people the same way as events. Hidden or archived profiles leave the public list.

Crypto and on-chain data

Preview pledges stay in Soglia’s ledger. If you attach an on-chain treasury, hashes and addresses are public on the chain. Soglia is not a financial intermediary and does not custody funds.

Sharing

We share data only: with you, on a live profile or event; with Boardy, if you ask for an intro; with identity providers to complete sign-in; or if the law requires it.

Retention

Account and profile stay while the account is active. After deletion we keep the minimum needed for up to 24 months, unless the law says otherwise. On-chain data cannot be erased from the network.

Deletion

To access, correct or delete data, use your profile or the desk. Hiding or archiving a profile removes it from public lists. Deleting X or Google upstream does not by itself delete the Soglia row — ask here.

Security

Sessions use __Host- cookies, trusted origins and desk roles. No measure is absolute. If a breach poses high risk we will notify you without undue delay.

Your rights

You have GDPR rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and complaint to a supervisory authority. Use your profile or the desk to exercise them.

Cookies

We use a session cookie for sign-in, language (soglia-lang) and handle skin (soglia-handle). Guest mode lives in sessionStorage. We do not install advertising trackers.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes stay visible at the top of the page with the update date.
